Connecticut Family Photographer
Photos that feel like
your family
actually feels.
Documentary-style family sessions built around your real world — not a pose in a field. Based in East Hampton, CT. Starting at $550.

How It’s Different
Not a pose.
A real moment.
Most family sessions go like this: you show up, someone arranges you, and you go home hoping for the best. That’s not what happens here.
Before your session, I take the time to actually get to know your family — what you’re like together, what this season of your life looks and feels like, and what you want to remember about it. From that conversation, I build a session around you: the right location, the right time of day, the right energy.
Your only job on session day is to show up and be your family. I’ll handle everything else.

A few examples —
yours will be its own thing
Every concept is built from scratch based on your family. These are just a sense of the range — real sessions that came from real conversations.
Outdoor · Golden Hour · Bittersweet
“The Last Summer Before School”
Barefoot at their favorite beach, the week before everything changes. Warm light, kids running, the feeling of wanting to hold onto exactly this moment — because you can feel it slipping.
In-Home · Documentary · Quiet
“Sunday Morning at Home”
Pancakes on the stove, pajamas still on, the dog underfoot. The light through the kitchen window at 9am. The ritual that happens every weekend that nobody has ever photographed — until now.
Outdoor · Adventure · Magic
“The Woods They Always Wanted to Explore”
A trail they’ve driven past a hundred times, finally at golden hour. Kids discovering, parents watching. The kind of late-afternoon light that makes everything feel like a fairy tale.
Wondering how we build your concept? It starts with a conversation — about your family, your aesthetic, and what this season of your life looks and feels like. From that, I design everything.
See how it works →Why Concept-Driven
Every session is
built from scratch.
I don’t show up with a shot list. Before your session, I learn about your family — your personalities, your aesthetic, how your kids move through the world. Then I design the session around that. The location, the light, the pace — all of it chosen for you specifically.
The result is photos that couldn’t belong to anyone else’s family. Because they were made for yours.
Learn about the process →Kids don’t have to behave
Wiggly toddlers, silly tweens, chaotic big families — I photograph all of it. The imperfect moments are usually the best ones.
No matching outfits required
I’ll help you with wardrobe direction so everything looks cohesive — but you don’t have to coordinate like a J.Crew ad.
Light that makes you look like yourself
Golden hour, soft interiors, dappled shade — I plan around the light so you look like the best version of you, not like you’re squinting.
A gallery that actually feels like something
Not just nice photos. Images that bring you right back to this specific season — before it’s gone.

Questions
Things families always ask
What if my kids won’t cooperate?
They don’t have to. Honestly, the “uncooperative” moments often make the best images. I’m experienced with kids of all ages and temperaments — part of my job is making it feel like play, not a photo shoot.
How far in advance should I book?
4–6 weeks for spring and summer sessions. 3–4 months for fall — it books fast. I take 10–12 sessions per month so each family gets my full attention.
What’s included in the session fee?
Discovery call, session planning, wardrobe guidance, the session itself, and a full digital gallery with 20+ professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered within 3 weeks. No hidden costs.
Can we include extended family or pets?
Absolutely — just let me know during our planning call so I can factor everyone in.
What if the weather is bad?
We build a rain date into every booking. Weather cancellations don’t count against the rescheduling policy — you’re fully protected.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. A 50% deposit holds your date; the remainder is due by session day. Flexible installment plans are available — just ask.
