I’m Kassandra, a family and couples photographer based in Connecticut, and my passion is capturing the love, laughter, and genuine connections that make your family unique. From the tiniest toes of a newborn to the joyful chaos of a big family session, I believe every stage of life deserves to be documented beautifully and authentically.

How It All Started

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but my journey into professional photography truly began in 2018. I had the privilege of working alongside an amazing mentor in the wedding industry, who not only taught me the technical skills of photography but also the deeper art of storytelling. While I loved capturing wedding days, I quickly realized that my heart was drawn to the quieter, more intimate moments—those found within families. That’s when I knew I wanted to be a family photographer.

There’s something incredibly special about preserving a family’s story, whether it’s a couple celebrating a new chapter, parents playing with their little ones, or a multigenerational family coming together for a rare and cherished photo session. This is what fuels my passion every time I pick up my camera.

Why I Love Family Photography

As a mother of two, I understand how quickly time passes. One minute, you’re rocking your newborn in your arms, and the next, they’re running around with endless energy. Life moves fast, and photography allows us to slow it down, even just for a moment. Being a family photographer gives me the privilege to capture these fleeting moments beautifully.

I know firsthand how meaningful it is to have beautiful, tangible memories of these fleeting moments. If you’re looking for stiff, overly posed portraits, I may not be the photographer for you—and that’s okay! My style is all about capturing real connections and emotions. I love guiding families into natural interactions, whether it’s snuggling close, playing a game, or sharing a quiet, tender moment. As a family photographer, I cherish these real moments.
